Coach Morris is in his 2nd year as head girls basketball coach at Wellsboro. Growing up Coach Morris attended Bishop Carrol High School and was a 3-year letter winner in football, basketball, and track, and also played in the 1992 Ken Lantzy All-Star game.
Coach Morris got his start coaching basketball in 1995 at Shanksville-Stonycreek School District in Shanksville where he was the head boys Junior High coach from 1995-1996.
From 1996-1997 Coach Morris was the JV boys coach at Harford Technical High School in Bel Air, Maryland and was the head coach from 1997-1998. As head coach Harford Technical won their first-ever playoff game in school history and made it to the second round of regionals that season. Later that year, Coach Morris moved to Wellsboro where he helped coach the Middle School boys basketball team from 1998-2002.
Prior to taking the Varsity head coaching position, Coach Morris compiled a 133-46 record in nine years as the Junior High coach for Wellsboro.
Coach Morris currently lives in Wellsboro with his wife Melissa and his daughters Chelsea and Emily, and teaches seventh grade Geography at the Rock L. Butler Middle School.
