Website Background

WellsboroAthletics.com was started in August 2010 from a vision by former assistant football coach Ed Weaver and former Head of Athletics, and former head football and track coach Mike Pietropola. Ed always wanted the chance to view his season statistics so in August of 2006, he started WellsboroFootball.com to make statistics, scores, and information available to the local community, college recruiters, and football fans throughout the world. Knowing the popularity of WellsboroFootball.com, Mike pitched the idea to Ed for a district-wide website covering all athletic programs, and the project was off and running.

Booster Club Background

The Wellsboro Hornets Sports Booster Club is a volunteer organization of parents, coaches, and supporters of Wellsboro High School sports. The Booster Club supports every high school athlete, team, and sport throughout the school year.

The Booster Club does the following:

1. Banner and shirt recognition for team or individual records/titles earned.
2. Supports teams with equipment needs, as deemed necessary by the coach.
3. Supports this website, WellsboroAthletics.com, the official website for all Wellsboro sports.
4. Organizes "Meet the Hornets" events for coaches to highlight accomplishments of the previous year and anticipation of the current year. Letterman jackets are presented during the fall "Meet The Hornets."
5. Provides $125 towards each athletes' lettman's jacket.
6. Provides senior recognition at the end of the year with 4-year athlete gifts.
7. Provides two $500 scholarship opportunities for senior athletes.

We would be honored if your business would be willing to sponsor our sports teams in one of the ways described below:

1. Donate money to purchase a banner, which will be hung outside and/or inside at our sports' facilities. The following number of 3'x5' banners can be purchased:
   • 1 - $150
   • 2 - $250
   • 3 - $375
   • 4 - $500
   • If two or more banners are purchased, your business logo will also be displayed on WellsboroAthletics.com.
2. Donate $100 (Basic Ad) for your logo to be displayed at the bottom of WellsboroAthletics.com (examples below).
3. Donation in the amount of less than $100.

1. Return the sponsorship form by email to charityf@cnbankpa.com.
2. Submit your payment in one of two ways:
   1. Mail a check to Charity Frantz: 22 Niles Rd., Wellsboro
   2. Use our online payment system.
3. Email your business logo to mgerges@ptd.net.

Once everything is received, you ad will be added to the site.
