Wellsboro, PA - Circle W Sports and Howard Hanna Professionals are teaming up to build the Wellsboro Athletics Network for the Wellsboro Athletic Department.

The 2023-24 athletic year is just around the corner. With that, the Wellsboro Hornets Sports Booster Club and Athletic Department are inviting all community members to come out and "Meet The Hornets."

The Wellsboro Hornet Sports Booster Club is gearing up for the new school year and is seeking a secretary to join their board, as well as representatives for cheerleading and softball.

Rock L. Butler Middle School was presented with the PIAA District IV Sportsmanship Award at their annual Summer Workshop at the Watson Inn on Thursday, August 3.

Seniors Conner Adams and Jordyn Abernathy were named Male and Female Athletes of the Year at the Wellsboro Athletic Department and the Wellsboro Hornets Sports Booster Club's annual athletic awards presentation on Monday, June 5.

Wellsboro jumpers Kyle Mosher, Aiden Gehman and Annie Gehman took part in this weekend's PIAA State Track & Field championships at Shippensburg University.

Sophomore Annie Gehman and senior Kyle Mosher advanced to next week's PIAA State Championships at Shippensburg at Saturday's District IV Track & Field Championships.

Senior Aiden Gehman qualified for the PIAA State Track & Field championships at Shippensburg University next week at the District IV championships on Thursday, May 18.

Sports Physicals for the 2023-2024 school year will be taking place on June 5th and 6th.

The Wellsboro Girls Track team finished 7th overall at the NTL Track & Field Championships at Athens on Friday, May 12.

The Wellsboro Junior High Girls Track team ran away from the field to win the NTL Championship on Tuesday, May 9.

The Wellsboro Track teams had strong showings at the Coudersport Booster Invite on Friday, May 5.

The Wellsboro Track teams closed out their dual meet season against Northeast Bradford and rival North Penn-Mansfield on Tuesday, May 2.

The Wellsboro Lady Hornet Track team swept a tri-meet with Williamson and Northeast Bradford while the boys split the meet on Tuesday, April 25.
