"We had a rough shooting night, only making 15 of 58 shots from the floor, along with going 4/13 at the free throw line," said head coach Darrell Morris. "Our strengths continue to be defense and hustle. After trailing 4-0 early in the game, we held CV scoreless from the middle of the first quarter until midway through the 4th quarter."
The girls also won their game against North Penn last Saturday, 37-17. Lizzie Poirier lead all scorers with 8 points and 2 steals. Rachael Tuttle pitched in 7 points and 6 rebounds, Kaeli Butters added 6 points and 6 rebounds, along with Autum Kitajima's 6 points and 5 assists. Jessica Grab and Alley Drew chipped in 4 and 2 points respectively, Janessa Davis contributed 2 steals, 1 assist, and 1 rebound, with Hope Wilkinson adding 2 assists.
Both teams will be back in action on Wednesday, March 6 as they host Galeton.
