Kosek Wins PIAA Foundation 2A XC Invite

Senior Lauren Kosek captured a gold medal at Saturday's PIAA Foundation Class 2A Invitational at Big Spring High School.

Kosek completed the new PIAA XC Championship course in 18:08, beating the 2nd place finisher by 39 seconds. The race fielded 218 runners.

"This was a strategic test on a new States race course," said head coach Eric Kosek. "She knew it would be a good looking-glass to the future this November and it turned out being a huge confidence booster for her. While not all State bound athletes attend this invite, its still a very competitive field and we are excited!"
