Lady Hornet XC Team Splits With Canton, Sullivan Co

The Lady Hornet Cross Country team split races with Canton and Sullivan County on the road on Tuesday afternoon.

Wellsboro beat Canton 15-50 and fell to Sullivan County, 22-33.

Junior Lauren Kosek claimed another first place finish this week, running 21:06. Freshman Kaci Kosek clocked in at 25:29 to finish 6th with senior Sophia Yoder (26:25) right behind her in the 7th. Sophomore Luisa Crocco was 10th (30:43) and sophomore Anja Przybycien (31:37) was 11th.

In the Junior High race Sullivan County defeated Wellsboro 18-41 and Canton won 6-15.

Summer Boder (14:57) finished 7th, Brianna O'Shea Losinger (15:42) was 9th and Serenity Harrison (18:32) was 11th.

The Varsity team is back in action this weekend at the PIAA Foundation Invite in Hershey.
