Hornets Drop Season-Opening Match To Athens

The Wellsboro Wrestling team dropped their season-opening match to Athens, 63-0, on the road on Thursday evening.
Athens scored forfeits at the 133, 152, 160 & 285 lb. weight classes. There were no matches at 114 or 121.
The Wildcats had 6 pins (172, 189, 107, 127, 139 & 145) and a decision (215).
Wellsboro (0-1, 0-1 NTL) is back in action at the Spartan Duals on the 13th.
