Bowen Named To NTL All-Star Wrestling Team

Senior Ryder Bowen was named to the Northern Tier League's Wrestling All-Star team on Tuesday, March 18.

Bowen, a first-team selection at 189 lbs., finished with a 32-8 record this season including 12 pins, 6 tech falls, 4 major decision and 4 decisions. He was the North Section champion at 189 lbs., finished 4th at the District IV Tournament, and qualified for the Northeast Region Tournament.

For his career Bowen had an 81-39 (..675) record with 38 pins, 7 tech falls, 6 major decisions and 11 decisions.

"We're proud of Ryder for earning a 1st Team All-Star Selection," head coach Bryce Bitner said. "He worked hard this year and dominated NTL competition and showcased along with others the talent that our schools have produced in the sport of wrestling. We'd like to wish all other selections congratulations on their nominations for the hard work that they put in to achieve this accolade."
