Hornet Grapplers Fall To Towanda, 72-4

Towanda won 12 matches, six by pin fall and six by forfeit, to defeat Wellsboro 72-4 Saturday afternoon on the wrestling mats.

The Black Knights took the first nine matches before junior Ryder Bowen won a 16-2 major decision over Caleb Austin at 172 lbs.

The loss drops the Hornets to 4-12 (0-6 NTL). The team is back in action at Williamson on Thursday.
