Junior High Lady Hornets Split With Athens

The Wellsboro Junior High Softball team split a doubleheader with Athens on Tuesday, May 2.

Athens took the first game 12-4 and the young Lady Hornets won the second game, 13-8.

Hannah Taylor had a single and scored 2 runs, Rylee Coolidge had two hits and scored 3 runs, Lacie Brutsman scored 2 runs, Alexis Passmore had a double and scored a run, and Lauren Kosek, Marlo Hoover, Nevaeh Ross, Isabella dean, Maddy Flannery all scored a run.

Wellsboro (3-9) returns to action next Monday at Williamson.
