Junior High Lady Hornets Drop Pair Against CV

Cowanesque Valley won a junior high doubleheader over Wellsboro on Thursday, April 20.

The Lady Indians won the first game 4-0 and took the 2nd, 23-15.

In game one CV held the Lady Hornets to just one hit from Delaney Morral. Adelyn Frantz pitched a complete game, striking out 11.

In game two Hannah Taylor had 2 singles and a double and scored 3 times, Rylee Coolidge had a single and a double and scored 3 times, Isabella Dean had 2 hits and 2 runs, Luisa Crocco had 2 hits and 2 runs, and Paige Browning had 2 runs.

Wellsboro (2-4) is back in action on Monday at home against Troy.
