Hornets Wrap Up Season At Williamsport

The Wellsboro Swim team wrapped up their regular season at Williamsport on Tuesday, February 14 against the Millionaires, Towanda, and Central Mountain.

The team posted six personal records and four automatic district qualifying times.

Senior Hayne Webster set a new PR, and district qualifying time, in the 200 Free (2:02.00) and set a district time of 1:00.73 in the 100 Fly.

Junior Madison Robbins hit two new PRs in the 200 Free (2:17.70) and the 100 Free (1:02.61), freshman Makenna Robbins recorded a district qualifying time of 1:00.81 in the 100 Free and also swam a 28.48 in the 50 Free, freshman Kristina Belz swam 1:25.21 in the 100 Breast and set a new PR of 2:58.20 in the 200 IM, and junior Isobel Anderegg posted a district qualifying time of 1:10.50 in the 100 Fly and added a 1:21.06 in the 100 Breast.

Junior Caralyn Warner added two new PRs, one in the 50 Free (28.10) and the other in the 100 Free (1:02.78).

Wellsboro will be back in the pool at Williamsport for the District IV Championships on March 1-2.
