Hornet Swimmers Post Multiple District Qualifying Times

Members of the Wellsboro Swim team posted multiple district qualifying times in meets against Towanda and Elk Lake on Monday and Lewisburg, Milton and Williamsport on Tuesday, January 10.

In total 8 district times were posted across the two meets.

Junior Isobel Anderegg swam 1:10.75 in the 100 Fly, freshman Makenna Robbins posted a 2:31.99 in the 200 IM, and senior Hayne Webster swam a 2:20.90 in the 200 IM, all district qualifying times. Anderegg also swam 2:19.89 in the 200 Free, Makenna Robbins swam 1:13.50 in the 100 Back, junior Madison Robbins swam 2:36.14 in the 200 IM and 1:02.82 in the 100 Free, junior Caralyn Warner put up a 28.11 in the 50 Free and 6:34.17 in the 500 Free, freshman Kristina Belz swam 3:05.85 in the 200 IM and 1:25.60 in the 100 Breast. Webster also swam 1:13.36 in the 100 Breast.

Against Towanda and Elk Lake, Warner (1:14.33, 100 Fly), Madison Robbins (6:15.08, 500 Free), Makenna Robbins (6:12.64, 500 Free), and Webster (2:23.72, 200 IM and 55.76, 100 Free) all swam district qualifying times.

Makenna Robbins also swam 2:14.41 in the 200 Free, Madison Robbins swam 28.51 in the 50 Free, Warner posted a 28.57 in the 50 Free, Belz swam 31.93 in the 50 Free and 7:52.87 in the 500 Free, and Anderegg swam 28.31 in the 50 Free and 1:19.47 in the 100 Breast.
