He also dropped 50 seconds off his quickest time from when he was a sophomore (18:32). Mengee had a great freshman year for the Hornets, picking up a 2nd place finish and two 3rd place finishes while running her best time (21:25) at the North Penn-Mansfield/CV tri-meet. Mengee finished 33rd in her first District meet.
"These four athletes are well deserving of the accolades they have received," said head coach Ron Brought. "They show up every day prepared to work hard and perform to the best of their ability. I'm very happy to see them get the recognition in the NTL and beyond as All-Stars. They are a great example of what Wellsboro expects from their student athletes."
WellsboroAthletics.com would like to congratulate Aidan, Anna, Connor, and Kayla on their selections and thank them for all their hard work and dedication to the program.
