Senior Jordan Butters will continue her softball career next year at Keuka College.
Through 10 games in the 2015 season, Jordan is batting 10-for-35 (.286) with three doubles, a home run, and eight RBIs.
"When I went to visit the college I met with Coach Burke and talked about playing there," Butters said. "I loved the campus, the lake is so beautiful, and the recruiting process was very easy so it was a pretty easy decision."
Upon enrolling at Keuka, Butters will enter a five-year Masters Degree program in Occupational Therapy.
For head coach Greg Carr, Butters marks his sixth player that will continue their career in college.
"I'm very proud of Jordan. Not only did she find a school to play softball at, she found a school that fit her academically," said Carr. "Jordan's been a four-year starter and a great asset to the program. This year she's one of our captains, we're very proud of all her accomplishments, and hope nothing but the best for her."
WellsboroAthletics.com would like to congratulate Jordan on her signing, and wish her the best of luck during her collegiate career.
