Senior Brooke Kohler went 3-for-4 at the plate to help the Wellsboro Varsity softball team defeated CV 5-1 on Wednesday night.
Junior Baylea Lehman, Sophomore Sarah Ingerick, and Junior Paige Carr all had two hits on the night, with Lehman hitting a triple. Sophomore Alexa Singer and Junior Jordan Butters also had hits on the night, with Singer's being a triple.
Carr had 2 RBI's on the night and Singer, Sophomore Darci Warriner, and Butters also drove in one run each.
Singer went the distance on the mound, her second complete game of the season, striking out four and giving up 5 hits and one run on 81 pitches.
The win improves the Lady Hornets' record to 4-0. The team will be back in action on Friday, April 11 as they travel to Troy.
