Senior Konnor Spencer will continue his football career this fall for Alfred University.
Spencer had 14 catches for 207 yards and one touchdown during the 2012 season, and recorded 56 tackles, one interception, and 3 pass breakups on defense.
"I applied to a lot of different colleges and Alfred was the last one I applied to," said Spencer. "I got a call from Coach Rankll asking if I was interested in attending Alfred and if I was interested in playing football. I was invited for an overnight recruiting visit where I was paired with a current player who was a member of Loyalsock's 2011 team when we beat them in overtime.
"The visit went well and that's when I decided I wanted to go to Alfred to play football and major in renewable energy engineering. Since then coach Rankll has been in constant contact with me and making sure everything is set for me to arrive at camp on August 15," Spencer concluded.
WellsboroFootball.com would like to congratulate Konnor on his selection and wishes him the best of luck during his college career.
