The Wellsboro girls cross country team took home a 10th place with 291 team points at the Northeast Invite on Saturday at Bloomsburg University.
Sophomore Jada Jackson was the top finisher for the girls in 29th with a time of 21:48. Sophomore Jordyn Coffee was 43rd in 22:37, Sophomore Camryn Keane was 71st (23:42), Junior Caitlynn Butler was 73rd (23:45), Sophomore Samantha Bailey was 75th (23:52), Senior Charlotte Worthington was 78th (23:57), and Freshman Janessa Davis was 84th (24:28).
There was no team score for the boys, but Senior Joey Doganiero was the top finisher in 38th at 18:34. Freshman Alden Weiner was 166th (22:08), and Sophomore David Zavetsky was 174th (22:46).
The teams will be back in action on Tuesday, October 1 as they host Athens and Sayre.
