Small Fry Hornets compete against Troy

The Wellsboro Small Fry football teams travelled to Troy over the weekend to take on the Trojans.

The first/second grade game of non-stop scoring ended with the Hornets on top, 47-34. After a game where the Hornets couldn't be kept out of the end zone, the next two games saw relentless defenses, with a lot of action.

The last two games went to the wire and could have gone either way. The third/fourth grade team lost 13-6 and the fifth/sixth grade team lost 12-6.

The boys play again on Sunday at home against Canton. The first game starts at 11:15 a.m. for the kindergarten flag team.
