JV softball team falls to Williamson

The Wellsboro JV softball team suffered a loss to Williamson tonight in Wellsboro, 8-3. The Hornets were in control of the game as they held a 3-1 lead over Williamson up until the fifth inning. Williamson's bats caught fire and scored 7 runs to take an 8-3 lead that the Hornets were unable to overcome.
With the loss the Hornets are 0-1 on the season. The team will be back in action on Saturday, April 14, as they travel to Wyalusing to take on the Rams.
