The Wellsboro boys and girls cross country teams competed at the NePa Invite yesterday morning.
The boys team finished 12th overall with 291 points and the girls team took 7th with 226.
For the boys team, Senior Jordan Jackson finished 4th overall with a time of 16:49. Senior Bobby Hill was the Hornets' second finisher in 17th at 17:21. Rounding out the rest of the team were Junior Joey Doganiero in 73rd (18:44), Senior Derek Morgan in 104th (19:27), Freshman Dakota Cleveland in 105th (19:28), Sophomore Dalton Messmer in 182nd (21:37), and Senior Drew Patrick in 184th (21:47).
For the girls team, Freshman Jada Jackson was the top finisher in 23rd in a time of 21:19. Senior Randi Grim was the second place finisher for the team in 46th with a time of 22:18. Rounding out the rest of the runners were Junior Charlotte Worthington in 50th (22:21), Freshman Jordyn Coffee in 59th (22:53), Freshman Camryn Keane in 77th (23:44), Freshman Hannah Hood in 83rd (23:55), and Junior Baylee Mann in 103rd (25:01).
The teams will be back in action on Tueday, October 2 as they face Troy and Northeast Bradford.
