Hornet grapplers fall to North Penn

The Wellsboro Hornets lost their sixth consecutive match last night as they fell to rival North Penn. Freshman Jack Chambers, Sophomore Brandon Owlett, and Junior Chad Daugherty picked up wins for the squad. Chambers pinned Lucas Groover in 5:30, Owlett won by major decision over C.J. Sargent, and Daugherty won by forfeit.

With the loss, the Hornets are now 2-17 overall. The team will be back in action Saturday, January 28, as they travel to Towanda.
