Wellsboro Girls Sweep Non-League Cross Country Meet

The girls traveled to Jersey Shore on Thursday to take on Mount Carmel and Jersey Shore. They returned to Wellsboro with two more victories. The girls defeated Mount Carmel 23-35 and Jersey Shore 15-45. Charlotte Worthington and Randi Grim provided the one-two punch in leading the girls to the win placing first and second respectively. Rounding out the top five were Annie Sweeney, Denae Ingerick, and Baylee Mann.

These two wins raise the girls overall record to 9-1 (6-1 NTL) . The girls finish their season on Tuesday when they take on Towanda and Wyalusing.
