Wellsboro girls pick up 2 wins at Nessmuk

The Wellsboro girls ran past Cowanesque and Athens to pick up 2 out of 3 wins at home. The girl’s race was just as close and just as exciting as the boys race. Wellsboro’s Charlotte Worthington and Randi Grim led the way finishing first and second. Northeast’s depth proved to be the deciding factor in this race as they had 3 girls finish before Wellsboro’s 3rd girl and their next 2 girls before Wellsboro’s 4th and 5th runners.

The overall team score was Northeast Bradford 27 Wellsboro 28. This was the first loss in the NTL for the girls. They now have an NTL record of 4-1.
