Hornets top Northeast Bradford

The Wellsboro Cross Country teams traveled to Ulysses for a non-league meet with the Northern Potter Panthers. Unfortunately, illness and injury have hit the Panthers hard and they did not have a complete boys or girls team. This resulted in both teams winning by scores of 15–50.

In the boys race senior captain Garrett Webster took home the honors with Bobby Hill and Bob Owlett right on his heels. Following the top three were Derek Morgan, Jordan Jackson, Drew Patrick and Cory Coolidge.

In the girls race Charlotte Worthington was the top placing Hornet. Randi Grim, Annie Sweeney, Baylee Mann, Denae Ingerick, Caitlyn Butler, Beth Pfisterer, Brittany Redell and Brittany Graner followed Charlotte to the win.

Wellsboro will be in action next Thursday, September 29 as they travel to Jersey Shore. Meet time is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
