Hornets off to impressive start at Big Valley

The Wellsboro Area Cross Country teams got off to a flying start this season at the Big Valley Invitational. The girls team, led by Charlotte Worthington (9th) and Randi Grim (16), ran to an impressive 4th place finish in the AA competition. Also running well for the Hornets were Annie Sweeney (30), Baylee Mann (44) and Denae Ingerick (52).

The boys team got off to an impressive start to the season with a second place finish in the AA division. Jordan Jackson led the boys with an overall individual championship in 16:40. Bob Owlett (4), Garrett Webster (14), Bobby Hill (22) and Joey Doganiero (39) all ran very well in helping the team to the second place finish.
