Week 12 Playoff Recap

After 12 weeks of the 2009 season, it all comes down to one game to decide the District 4 Class AA champion. Loyalsock will face off against Lewisburg for the Class AA championship and a berth in the Pennsylvania state playoffs.

Loyalsock defeated Hughesville, 17-6, in a rematch from earlier in the year. Lewisburg will make their first appearance in a District 4 chamionship game after doing what no other team in the area has been able to do, defeat the Towanda Black Knights.

In other news from around the area, Muncy fell to Shenandoah Valley in the Eastern Conference championship game.
