Week 10 Updates

The 2009 regular season is in the books, and what a season it was! Towanda remained undefeated after shutting out Wyalusing. Towanda will represent the NTL as the Number 1 seed in the Class AA playoffs.

In other NTL news, Athens held off Sayre, Cowanesque's Evan McCall became the first 1,000 yard rusher for the Indians since 2004, Canton shut out Troy 22-0 to win the Old Shoe, and Montgomery defeated South Williamsport to earn their first playoff spot since 2001.

In other news from the area, Loyalsock dropped Shamokin, Selinsgrove shut out Montoursville 42-0, and Hughesville blew past Muncy 47-14. Stay tuned to WellsboroFootball.com as we will continue to follow the local teams throughout the District and Eastern Conference Playoffs.
