Hornet JV Falls to Troy

The Wellsboro JV team fell to the Troy Trojans last night, 24-7. The Hornets only touchdown came from a 50 yard pass by quarterback Dan Saniga to wide receiver Mike Wheeler just before half time. The Hornets only trailed by six at the half, but turnovers hurt the Hornets in the second half.

The Hornets turned the ball over three times inside the red zone and could not recover from those mistakes. Next week the Hornet JV team has a week off before hosting their first home game of the year against the Wyalusing Rams on September 28.
