Week 9 Updates

With one week remaining in the 2008 regular season, the NTL Large School Division has finally been decided. Athens defeated Cowanesque Valley to win the crown this year, going 5-0 in the division.

In other league play, North Penn lost to Canton 36-8, Troy beat Muncy 32-21 but will be without Quarterback Vance Spencer for next week's rivalry game with Canton after he was ejected following a touchdown run. Wyalusing picked up their second win of the year by defeating Sayre 28-0, and Towanda fell to Loyalsock, 10-0.
