The Troy Trojans survived a fourth quarter scare from the North Penn Panthers Friday night, October 17. After fumbling the ball inside their 20-yard line on their opening drive and allowing the Panthers to score first, the Trojans dominated the rest of the game until the opening bell of the fourth quarter, keeping the Panthers down 21-7.
Once the fourth quarter started, however, North Penn answered back on long runs by Blake Lee to come back and tie the game at 21-21. After the lapse, Troy got back into the groove and managed to defeated the Panthers, 35-21.
In other action, Athens downed Towanda 28-13, Montgomery beat Cowanesque 26-8, Wyalusing beat South Williamsport 21-7 for their first win of the year, and Sayre fell to Muncy 35-12.
