First Round Coverage

The first round of playoffs got underway last night. Towanda kept its undefeated record intact with a win over Warrior Run. Loyalsock won its first postseason game this decade with a huge win Hughesville. Montoursville pulled out a close win over Mount Carmel.
In other games, Athens downed Mifflinburg 40-12 and will face Towanda in the semifinals. Muncy defeated Mahanoy Area 15-6 in an Eastern Conference Semifinal. South Williamsport also pulled out a close win beating Lourdes Regional, 8-7.
