Hornets Receive Lettermen's Jackets

Meet The Hornets is not only a chance for the community to recognize the upcoming fall sports teams at Wellsboro, it is also a chance to acknowledge letter winners from the previous year. Each year, the Wellsboro Hornets Sports Booster Club awards Wellsboro's upper classmen with Lettermen's Jackets after they have met the requirements in their respective sports.

Last night, August 29, the Booster Club awarded 14 members of the year's football team. Players pictured include Senior Sean Gleason, Junior Cameron Jones, Junior Jared DeBlois, Senior Colton Acorn, Junior Mitch Christman, Junior Steve Mengee, Junior Jake Coolidge, Junior Matt Weaver, Junior Pat Driebelbies, Junior Zack Luczak, and Junior Manager Caleb Krick. Not pictured include Senior Sam Bellinger, Senior Zack Renner, and Junior Chris Shelmire.
