The Wellsboro Middle School Soccer team won their fourth consecutive game as they defeated Williamson 2-0 on Wednesday, September 24.
The Hornets controlled the ball and challenged Williamson throughout the game and struck early in the first half as Julia Smith scored off an assist from Cameron Tennis.
Wellsboro scored the second goal at the end of the first half as Brett Rudy raced past Williamson defenders and found the back of the net to give Wellsboro the victory.
Kaycee Huslander recorded three saves and Nathan Redell had five saves in the win.
The team is now 4-2 on the year and will be back in action on Saturday, September 27 as they travel to Galeton.
