Pietrzyk Takes Top Spot At Selinsgrove Invite

Senior Syler Pietrzyk claimed the top spot at Friday's Selinsgrove Invite at Susquehanna Valley Country Club.

Pietrzyk shot a one-over par 71 to lead the field. Junior Chase Schultz finished 16-over par with an 86 to tie with sophomore Case Butler. Junior Logan Johnson was 19-over (89) to finish 40th, freshman Jackson Largey carded a +21 (91) to finish 49th, sophomore Conlen Whitsell shot a 92 to place 51st and sophomore Benjamin Jackson (97) rounded out the team in 62nd.

Wellsboro finished 5th overall as a team, shooting a combined score of 246. NTL foe Towanda (231) took the top team spot while Cowanesque Valley (254) finished behind the Hornets in 6th.

The Hornets return to NTL play as the full league is in action at Shepard Hills.
