JH Volleyball Swept By Canton

Wellsboro's Junior High Volleyball team had their four-game win streak snapped Monday as they fell 2-0 to Canton.

The young Lady Hornets dropped the first set 25-15 and dropped the second, 25-22. The B team also lost 2-1 (25-23, 14-25, 10-15).

Ella Satalin led Wellsboro with 5 points on 3 aces while Taryn Sweet 4 points (1 ace) and Natalie Weaver scored 3 points on 2 aces. Kyerra Heck had 5 digs, Weaver added 3 and Lylah Dillon had a dig. Brynn Bourret had 2 assists and Nora Mickey had 2 kills.

Wellsboro (6-3) hosts North Penn-Liberty on Wednesday.
