Wellsboro's Boys Soccer team won their sixth game in a row, shutting out Galeton 6-0 on Friday.
Freshman Callen Novak recorded a hat trick in the game and junior Camden Bryant made six saves in goal for a clean sheet.
Senior Colin Fletcher opened the scoring with just over 28 minutes remaining off an assist from junior Gabe Cuneo. Novak scored the 2nd goal with 22:05 remaining in the first half unassisted, then freshman Cody Tomlinson made it 3-0 after he converted a cross from Fletcher with 13 minutes to go.
Sophomore Liam Stevens kicked off the scoring in the second half, not even four minutes in, on an assist from Novak. Novak later made it 5-0 in favor of the Hornets after converting a Cuneo cross with 15:44 left in the game. Cuneo then scored, assisted by Stevens, to make it 6-0 seconds later.
Wellsboro out-shot Galeton 22-6 and had an 8-1 advantage in corner kicks.
The Hornets improve to 12-1-2 (11-1-1) and are back in action Tuesday at Athens.
