Hornet Bocce Ball Team Sweeps Canton

The Wellsboro Bocce Ball team improved to 3-2 on the season after sweeping Canton Wednesday afternoon on the road.

Wellsboro won the first game 5-2. They started off with a 2-0 lead after the 2nd frame, but the Warriors rallied to knot the game up at 2-all after the 4th. The Hornets then scored 2 points in the 5th and added an insurance point in the 6th for the win.

The Hornets then took game two, 11-1. Wellsboro took a commanding 6-1 after the 4th frame, then scored 5 more points in the 5th and 6th frames.

Wellsboro is back in action for the final time this season against Troy on February 4.
