Anderegg, Robbins Medal On First Day Of District Swimming Championships

Sophomores Piper Anderegg and Matthew Robbins both brought home medals on the first day of the District IV Swim Championships at Williamsport on Wednesday.

Anderegg took home 4th place in the 200 Free with a time of 2:08.34.

Robbins also brought home a 4th place finish in the 50 Free in 24.11.

The girls team currently sits in 9th place with 54 points while the boys are 7th with 82 points.

For the girls, senior Kristina Belz finished 20th in the 50 Free (29.42), senior Makenna Robbins took 6th in the 200 IM (2:25.75) and the 200 Free Relay team of Belz, Robbins, Anderegg and freshman Joelle Bull finished 6th in 1:51.73.

For the boys, junior Max Mascho was 11th in the 50 Free (25.15), sophomore Wyatt Sporer was 16th in the 50 Free (25.83) and freshman Austin DeShazo was 13th in the 100 Fly (1:04.34). The 200 Medley Relay team of Mascho, Robbins, DeShazo and Sporer were 5th in 1:54.99 and the 200 Free Relay team of the same four were 5th in 1:41.78.
