Wellsboro dropped a non-league game at Williamsport Saturday morning, falling 3-2 to the Lady Millionaires.
Williamsport won the first set 25-14 before the Lady Hornets took the next two: 25-16 and 25-22. Williamsport tied things back up with a 25-18 win in the fourth set before winning th3 fifth, 15-7.
Sophomore Adelyn Frantz led the team with 14 kills and 3 blocks while junior Blake Eckart had 10 points and 6 aces. Sophomore Kendall Sweet also scored 10 points to go along with 4 aces, senior Taylor Main had 12 digs, 10 assists and 7 points (3 aces), and junior Ellie Largey made 15 assists.
Eckart and Sweet added 3 kills apiece and junior Madison Cruttenden recorded 32 digs.
Eckart also made 17 digs.
Williamsport also won the JV game 2-0, winning 25-16 and 25-12.
The Lady Hornets return to NTL Large School Division play Tuesday against Troy.
