The Wellsboro Boys Tennis team completed the sweep of the NTL by edging Towanda 3-2 on the road to win their 5th straight league title on Tuesday afternoon.
The Hornets finished undefeated in the league (6-0), and have now won 7 our of the last 8 league titles.
"I'm really proud of the boys and what they have been able to accomplish this year," head coach Andy Borzok said. "We graduated 5 starters from last year, so we had mostly a brand new starting lineup. I've been so impressed with how well our whole team has played lately and I feel like we’re headed into districts playing our best tennis."

The Hornets travel to South Williamsport for a non-league match this afternoon, and take on Central Columbia in the 1st round of the District IV playoffs Saturday.
