After 100 minutes of soccer neither Wellsboro nor Loyalsock could get a goal past the opposite keeper, results in a 0-0 draw Tuesday evening.
"I continue to be pleased with the boys effort to execute the tactics we’re asking of them," head coach Todd Fitch said. "I'm hopeful that we can use the time before the post season to fine tune some areas."
The Lancers edged Wellsboro 8-7 in shot attempts but had an 11-3 advantage in corner kicks.
Senior Camden Tom made 7 saves in goal.
In the JV game the Hornets defeated Loyalsock 4-0 to finish their season 15-0-1.
Sophomore Xavier Lecker and freshmen Liam Stevens (2) and Gage Baltzley all scored in the game.
"I want to give a shout out to Coach Stevens and the JV team on their undefeated season," Fitch added.
Wellsboro finishes the regular season 11-5-2 overall and 9-2-1 in the NTL. The Hornets currently sit in 5th place in the District IV Class 2A playoff standings, and will await their official seeding and opponent for post-season play.
