Members of the Wellsboro Swim team posted numerous PRs and three top-5 finishes at the Williamsport Coaches Invite on Saturday, February 8.
Freshman Piper Anderegg recorded a 2nd place finish in the 500 Free (5:45.04) and a 4th place finish 200 Free (2:07.94). Junior Makenna Robbins was 5th in the 200 IM (2:32.38) and 6th in the 100 Breast (1:16.72), junior Kristina Belz was 13th in the 100 Breast (1:21.54) and 32nd in the 50 Free (30.89). Freshman Molly Doan was 51st in the 50 Free (38.50) and 44th in the 100 Free (1:32.99).
For the boys, freshman Wyatt Sporer was 27th in the 50 Free (26.58) and 14th in the 100 Breast (1:17.59), freshman Eli Shrawder was 47th in the 50 Free (32.09) and 40th in the 100 Free (1:13.89), and freshman Matthew Robbins was 7th in the 100 Free (53.31) and 14th in the 100 Back (1:06.99).
Wellsboro travels to Towanda on Monday for their final regular season meet before the District IV Swimming Championships.
