The Wellsboro Boys Soccer team brought home a sweep, with a pair of shut outs, of Williamson Tuesday.
The Varisty team won 2-0 while the JV team won 1-nil on a goal by sophomore Xavier Lecker, assisted by freshman Liam Stevens.
In the Varsity game, senior David Seeling scored both Hornet goals. His first came with 58 seconds remaining in the first half. He later scored with 33 seconds remaining in the game off an indirect kick that deflected off a Williamson defender.
Senior Camden Tom made 7 saves in goal.
"It wasn't a pretty game, but the boys found a way to win," head coach Todd Fitch said. "Sometimes you're just thankful to come away with the result and no new injuries."
The Hornets improve to 5-2 (3-1 NTL) and host Troy Thursday.
