Hornet Golfers Drop Non-League Match To Jersey Shore

Jersey Shore defeated Wellsboro at Belles Springs Golf Course by 11 strokes in a non-league golf match on Thursday.

The Hornets shot a combined round of 173 while Jersey Shore shot 162.

Sophomore Chase Schultz shot a 41 to lead Wellsboro while junior Syler Pietrzyk finished with a 42 and freshman Benjamin Jackson had a 43. Freshman Case Butler carded a 47, freshman Samuel Jackson finished with a 49 and senior Kiernen Whitsell rounded out the team with a 51.

Wellsboro (19-9, 19-8 NTL) is back in action for a full NTL match next Thursday at Corey Creek.
