Five Hornets Land On NTL Boys Soccer All-Star Team

Five members of the Wellsboro Boys Soccer team were named to the NTL Boys Soccer All-Star team Tuesday.

Seniors Jonathan Carl, Jude Cuneo, Jacoby Strang, David Seeling and junior Coen Tennis were all selected. Carl and Cuneo were both first team selections while Strang, Seeling and Tennis were chosen for the second team.

Carl led Wellsboro with 28 points, 12 goals and 4 assists.

Cuneo helped anchor a strong Hornet backline, which allowed just 22 goals on the season and 7 shut outs.

Seeling was 2nd on the team with 19 points, 8 goals and 3 assists.

Strang was 3rd on the team with 14 points, 6 goals and 2 assists.

Tennis was 5th on the squad with 4 points and 2 goals.
