Freshman Piper Anderegg and junior Makenna Robbins brought home a combined three 1st place finishes against Athens and Towanda on Thursday.
Anderegg brought home a 1st place finish in the 200 Free (2:12.10) and the 500 Free (5:58.26). Robbins took 1st in the 200 IM (2:36.11) and was also 2nd in the 100 Breaststroke (1:20.65).
The Lady Wildcats defeated the Lady Hornets 71-20 and Towanda 78-15. Towanda also edged out Wellsboro 34-30.
In the boys meet Wellsboro fell to Athens 69-16 and to Towanda, 58-24. Athens also beat Towanda, 68-22.
Junior Kristina Belz finished 3rd in the 200 Free (2:49.82) and in the 100 Back (1:26.20) while freshman Molly Doan was 5th in the 50 Free (39.28) and the 100 Breaststroke (1:50.20).
The girls all swam the 200 Free Relay, finishing 3rd in 2:06.12.
For the boys, freshman Matthew Robbins brought home a pair of 2nd place finishes in the 200 IM (2:24.09) and 100 Back (1:07.79), freshman Wyatt Sporer was 2nd in the 100 Breaststroke (1:21.92) and 3rd in the 50 Free (26.76), and junior Ethan Pollaro was 3rd in the 100 Free (1:03.58) and 6th in the 50 Free (28.61). Freshman Eli Shrawder finished 6th in both the 100 Free (1:19.81) and 100 Breaststroke (1:55.32).
The boys' 200 Free Relay also finished 3rd, swimming a time of 1:54.36.
The team is back in the pool on Tuesday, February 4 at Williamsport.
