Young Hornets Cruise Past Wyalusing

Wellsboro's Junior High Soccer team continued their unbeaten streak by outscoring Wyalusing 10-2 on Monday, September 9.

Through three games this season the Hornets have outscored their opponents 26-3.

The Hornets scored four first-half goals. Liam Stevens, Haylie Smith, Owen Miller, and Callen Novak all found the back of the net. Stevens (3), Smith, James Doughtie, and Novak all scored in the 2nd half.

"We struggled to finish the ball early in the game but came out the second half putting almost every shot in the net," said head coach Derek Stevens.

Wellsboro improves to 3-0 on the season and travels to Athens Saturday morning.
