Lady Hornets Improve To 2-0

The Wellsboro Girls Basketball team improved to 2-0 on the young season after a 45-19 win over Addison (NY) on Tuesday, December 10.

Wellsboro held a slim 10-9 win after the 1st quarter, but outscored Addison 35-10 over the final three quarters.

Senior Chloe Brandenburg and Paige Logsdon both recorded double-digits in scoring for the Lady Hornets. Brandenburg scored 18 to lead the team while Logsdon added 16. Freshman Teagan Novinger chipped in 6 points, freshman Adelyn Frantz added 4 points and freshman Kate Bryant rounded out the scoring with a point.

Wellsboro (2-0) hosts Northeast Bradford on Friday.
