The Wellsboro Volleyball team bounced back after their loss to Troy to hand Coudersport a 3-1 loss on Saturday, September 21.
Wellsboro took the first set 25-20 then took the second 25-23. Coudersport cut Wellsboro's led to 2-1 with a 25-19 win in the third set, however Wellsboro rallied to win the 4th 25-12 to end the match.
Wellsboro also won the JV game 2-0, winning 25-23 and 25-11.
Sophomore Madison Cruttenden led Wellsboro with 17 points (4 aces) and 24 digs, sophomore Ellie Largey scored 11 points (4 aces) and made 14 assists, and senior Lexi Urena had 8 points, 5 aces, 11 kills and 17 digs.
Senior Paige Logsdon had 6 kills, sophomore Blake Eckart had 5 kills and 15 digs, and junior Taylor Main recorded 9 assists.
Wellsboro improves to 7-2 overall and remains at 5-1 in the NTL Large School Division. The team is back in action on Tuesday against Towanda.
